"Connie has been tutoring my son in reading for a year and a half now. He has gone from reading 23 words a minute to 110 words a minute! His confidence has also grown by leaps and bounds, as has his love for reading. My son looks forward to his tutoring time with Connie, both in person and online. Connie truly cares about my child and we couldn't be happier!"

"My son, a second grader, started tutoring with Signal Learning Connections in June 2022.
The reading program that was used during the tutoring sessions had a positive impact on his ability to improve in the following areas: recognizing sight words, phonics, fluency, writing, and comprehension skills. My son is becoming more confident in reading. His reading has improved by five (5) reading levels within a six-month time frame!
My husband and I are impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the tutor. The Maloney Method, using Direct Instruction and PrecisionTeaching has proven to be a very effective program to help my son improve his reading skills."

"My daughter began working with Ms. Connie in her second grade year. She was not making the necessary progress in school and had not developed a love of reading. Connie came highly recommended. She uses an alternative way of teaching reading that not only made it fun but also made my daughter want to excel. It was great each week to see how proud she was of herself as she began adding to the number of words per minute that she was able to read. Connie has a heart for children and a love of teaching children to read!"

My daughter and I met Ms. Connie last summer. My daughter was entering Kindergarten and I wanted to get her on the right path to reading. The plan, Ms. Connie would start the process of teaching my daughter how to read and then her Kindergarten teacher would continue the process when she started school in August. At least I thought that was the plan. Now, school is almost over, and my daughter is still working with Ms. Connie; she will continue to work with her this summer. Why? There is not enough space on this page or time for me to describe how wonderful Ms. Connie is at teaching. Here are only a few reasons: Ms. Connie is patience, Constantly we talk about my daughter's strengths and opportunities, Ms. Connie incorporates her material/ style into my daughter's teacher's goals/objectives, Ms. Connie is very flexible, and she constantly check to find out if we need to make adjustments to my daughter's tutoring sessions, Ms. Connie keeps my daughter's attention, and she doesn't move on to a new concept until my daughter has a solid understanding of what is being taught. Trust me, I could go on and on but I want to stop here to say, I saw immediate results. Not only can my daughter read but she can also develop sentences, with very little assistance from Ms. Connie.
